At the Highland Project
Internship at Highland offers individuals the opportunity to participate in and partake in a cooperative living project while maintaining employment in the surrounding Boulder/Denver area. As participants in the life of our intentional community, interns have the opportunity to explore the diverse aspects of our lives, including personal growth and communication, group process, organic gardening and consciousness toward food and eating, and a lifestyle that promotes health and well being physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
On the mundane level, requirements include a time commitment of 3-6months, regular household chores, work in the organic garden, involvement in food prep and cooking. Personal and interpersonal prerequisites include a desire to live and work in close proximity with others and relational and communication skills that make this possible.
