Know that when you learn to lose yourself, you will reach the Beloved. There is no other secret to be learned and more than this is not known to me.

All levels of life are interconnected and each level provides a source of nourishment for other levels. Your most satisfying nourishment and deepest peace can be found by rediscovering your place in this chain through teamwork, service, and giving of yourself. A total exuberant giving of yourself to link and merge with the whole through service and celebration is a key aspect of this dimension (what some spiritual practices refer to as purification as a path to love). This can break the spell of self-absorption and help you reconnect to something larger than yourself. The opportunities are vast but the important thing is to find small ways to involve yourself – volunteer, set an intention to help create harmony in a conversation or endeavor, cook a meal with mindfulness, practice gratitude, care for the planet by choosing organic food, going green, or planting a garden.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.
—Margaret Mead
The seventh dimension is about what we truly are outside and beyond our unique essence as a Self, that about us which is more than our particular role as a self. It’s about all of what we can do to establish a more intimate relationship with the larger universe, life, others. Mergence is the field of activity and manifest expression of our Truest Self, our Divine Self – the large universe is us and we are it, and everything that is true of it is true of us, if we open ourselves to it and engage it fully.
A sample of some key things to be focused on throughout the day in working with this dimension:
1. Always be on the lookout to notice, see, and appreciate your self-sameness with others – that about yourself and others that constitute their truly being your brothers and sisters as much or more so your family than even your biological family.
2. Not considering your Self – saying ‘Yes!’ to all opportunities to truly serve the genuine needs of others and greater welfare of the Whole. This refers to what you need to do beyond making sure that you are doing what you must to nurture and cultivate the best possible state in yourself so that you are clear, healthy and vital. You must be in such state to be one who can serve – both able to recognize what is needed outside yourself and have the capacity to do whatever is required of you.
This is the true joy in life, to be used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one, to be thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap. To be a force of nature instead of a feverish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am a member of a community and as a member it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can before I die. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch that I want to make burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.
—George Bernard Shaw
